Merger rumor

Anyone heard anything about a possible rumor with T-mobile and Sprint merging? I hate rumors, and I wanted to Separate fact from fiction. To me, it doesn't make any sense, but crazier things have happened.

NEW: memory cards for cell phones!

I predict this will happen, soon!

where you can load movies into your phone, exchange phone books, and swap different pictures, wall papers, ringers etc.

I'd bet AT&T hits this first(?) Logic behind that would be the fact you can sit adn watch porn on your frigen at&t phones these days, so why not come out with a card that allows you to watch full movies?

hahaha, I'm sittin at the bar about a month ago, and my friend shows me his new at&t videocamera phone, long story short, he puts on a porno clip, with sound and visual, it was hilarious

any truth though videoconferancing and memory slots are being researched and will be launched possibly within the next year?>

New Roaming agreements with AT&T

according to this news article,

"The company is also allowing customers with GSM phones to automatically roam onto other companies' networks in their home cities at no extra charge. This could help users who run into dead spots with no AT&T Wireless coverage but a Cingular or T-Mobile USA tower"

is that going to be a 2 way thing??
(on AT&T phones they could pick up anybody, its just a question of being charged, and according the above, they are not, MY QUESTION IS ON CINGULAR WHERE YOU COULD ONLY PICK UP, WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO PICK UP (IRDB) WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO PICK UP AT&T)

What Is It About The Cellular Industry?

Why does everyone want everything for nothing? We love our phones, our mobility, our instant information and communicaztion. But we want to pay next to nothing for the service and want our equipment for free? Can you imagine where the computer industry would be if people felt that way about their computers?

Motorola MPx (MPx300 ???)

I was poking around and came across a site with a video that I think is the up and coming Motorola MPx300. It is just called the MPx. It is on a French web site and I don't speak French so I couldn't get all the details. I did use a web translator to view the page and got some of the details. Here is the link.

If there is someone out there who could translate that would be great.

There is also a link the the video.

Outsourcing penalties

Heard a rumour about the FCC trying to pass a bill which would penalize companies for outsourcing. Looking through http://www.fcc.gov for the past 20 minutes, I can't find anything on it unless it's under the FAIR act. My computer freeze anytime I try to access it. The idea is to keep call center labour inside the USA. Sucks for me, since I'm outsource, and I want to know about it.

Any ideas? I'll check tomorrow, because it's the almighty End of Shift time.
