T-Mobile Eyes Sprint Merger To Battle AT&T, Verizon
T-Mobile is reported planning to merge with Sprint Nextel to battle AT&T and Verizon Wireless in the U.S. Combined, T-Mobile and Sprint would battle AT&T for second place in the wireless market. While Sprint's assets are attractive, an analyst said the differing technologies used by Sprint and T-Mobile would create "a mess." I don't know how much truth there is to this!! I have heard this rumor since I started working for Sprint 5 years ago.

Verizon Blackberry Storm w/ wifi
I was at a conference not long ago and happened to talk with some nice people from Verizon regarding the Blackberry Storm's lack of wifi.
I heard from the nice folks there that the Storm is going to get a replacement this coming October that will include Wifi.

This is a very interesting article, even mentions Tmo US accelerating 3G rollout. Makes me curious where Tmo's 3G network will be this time next year.

Blackberry flip volume
Is anyone else having problems with the flip volumn.. I'm not hard at hearing but comparing it to my LG that i had, my blackberry stinks.. I can be in my car with my window open and not hear a ring or a beep or anything.. I left it sit on counter and my son didn't even hear it ring this morning and i had two calls.. Do i just have a bad phone or are all of the blackberry flips bad with volumn??

Does anybody have any idea when it's coming for Verizon. I read it was today but it's not on their website. I called 2 Verizon stores in my area(10009 NYC) and the 2 sales person that picked up told me they had no idea that the Omnia 2 was even coming out.

I used to work for and have att and when I did a warranty exchange 3 times they would trade me up for a better or "comparable" phone. Does T-mobile do the same thing?

Verizon Wireless to launch IPHONE Nano w/ possible Exclusivity!
This is unreleased information from a Verizon Wireless Employee that in the first quarter of 2010 Verizon will final get an IPHONE called the IPHONE Nano. A little bit small than the IPHONE, but who cares. It will be on the best network out there and it may be exclusive. Your Thoughts?

I don't get this exclusivity nonsense all of a sudden. People never complained about exclusivity agreements until iPhone came along. It never really occured with the Sidekick through T-Mobile which is a one of a kind phone also. Fact is, this is just basically "I want an iPhone Wah!" junk. Exclusivity was never challenged at this degree until now...

Has anyone heard any scoop on a release date or carrier for the Nokia E72? I know it's been announced as late third quarter (which means less than 61 days from now) and possibly unbranded but wondering if anyone has more concrete info.
