Changing carrier for Samsung SPH-620?

For 10 years I've had one of these phones, using Sprint as a carrier. I finished the 2 year contract about 8 years ago. Now I want to change carriers and use it as a second phone, with a new phone number. Is there a SIM card access in this model phone? How do you access it? What size is it? Is changing carriers even possible?

Old-school user needs plan advice

I currently have 3 lines with VZW. My first line is my grandfathered unlimited data plan that I've bought full retail phones for over the past several years, and currently have a Note 3. The second line is my wife's 6gb/mo $30 plan. We share Unlimited Text/MMS and a 700 min per month voice package. Recently, I added a third line for my daughter, bought her an S5, and she was supposed to also share the 700 min and my wife's 6gb a month. I got an alert that my daughter was at 75% of her usage after only a week, so I went online to find out a few things:

They didn't share the data but gave her a separate 2gg/mo plan for $30
They told me they can't share data between certain lines, and data can only be shared if all lines on the account are ...

Frustrated with the added fees from my carrier!

I got so tired of the extra fees that my carrier was adding to my monthly bill, I decided to shop around. I found a company offering coverage on my carrier for half the cost.

I thought too good to be true but I love it. Same plan only $65/mo for 5GB of data and that includes taxes and insurance on my phone. They will give me a free month if I recommend them to a friend and they sign up. I didn't have to sign a contract and they took care of my early termination fees too.

I am telling everyone I know about them. Hopefully I will never have to call and be on hold forever again.

Calendar access on AT&T Z222

It's a silly, simple little phone, I know. But why can't I access my calendar tool while on a phone call? What's the point of a calendar if I can't look at it while talking to someone? Anything I'm missing something here or is AT&T Z222 just stupid that way? Crying or Very sad

ILLUMAFLARE SELFIE CASE???

Hi...does anyone have any information about this case that has lights for selfies? I found it on FB after seeing the page like on another account. I went to the website www.illumaflare.com but it doesn't have specific information, but it did have a launch date. Anyhow, I want to see some pics or get more information. I take a ton of selfies and I'm curious. Can anyone help me find any other info or actual pics?

Why don't cell phones come with front facing flashes?

Thanks

GEARMAXX screen protector

I bought this GEARMAXX screen protector from eBay and have had on my iphone for about 10 days now. Applying the screen protector on the phone was straight forward and look and feel of it on my screen is great! Overall, Im happy with GEARMAXX screen protector which unlike the zagg I had on my other phone collected lint from my pants (wtf!)...well, I did away with it! :lol

Good Linux Distro for a Gateway 4010u

I've already tried Debian and all the distros related to Ubuntu like Linux Mint 17, Peppermint OS 4, lubuntu 14.04 and Pinguy OS 14.04.

I also tried Macpup and Bohdi but did not work because of issues with the Intel GMA 3600 driver. Seems like the Enlightenment desktop doesn't work and Ubuntu stopped supporting this driver after 13.

Peppermint 4 did work best out of all of them, but that's because it's based off of Ubuntu 13. I want a system that's more up to date.

I'm going to give Chakra Linux Descartes a shot tonight because I have read that Arch, which Chakra is based off of, continues to support Intel GMA 3600.

Any tips, tricks or hacks that I can try? Thanks.

Seeking an in-line disconnect/reconnect for standard phone line

After coming up blank in my search for a particular piece of hardware to do the job I need, I am hoping you folks may have a recommendation or resource to help me.

Electrical storms are common in our area and the damage that lightning strikes can do to the home utilities here is always a threat. I've invested in surge protection with several different products (each at least 100 USD, btw) in the past years, none of which turned out to be 100% reliable... and paid the cost. The last few I've tried supposedly had the phone line surge protected along with the power cords. But the last one (surge protector) destroyed during a storm led to to more drastic measures to prevent damage. Apparently, there is more potential damage from a surge th...

Living in a dead zone

Living in upper Michigan, cell service can be spotty in certain areas. I happen to live right in the center of one of these areas.
Living in a "dead zone", I have to walk halfway down the drive to make a cell call.
There's no cable where I live, so I had to get Hughesnet (sattlelite) for internet.
Now, I've heard of a thing called a "femtocell" that plugs into my router and provides a cell signal inside my home.
My question is where to get one and how much do they cost?
If someone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated...

Cursed iPhone 666 for sale. Get it before anyone else!

I have some cursed iPhone's 666 for sale. Get it before it comes out! (Or even before it's invented.)

The new iPhone 666 features a Retina scanner (forget about fingerprint scanner, THIS is the new s!t!), a 66 ultra pixel camera and a 6.66 ultra pixel user-facing camera (for selfies). It captures video in 6K Ultra HD. It has a holographic display, Bluetooth, 666 Terrabites of memory capacity, 66 GB of RAM, etc.

It includes SIRI assisted by the soul of your favorite dead person. Ever wanted to ask Hitler, Cleopatra or Napoleon Bonapart "How's the wheather?" and have them to answer back? Now you can!

In other words, it has everything else that the competence, but at a much higher price and fancier materials/look (Carved with the bones...
