Charger/Data Cable Compatibility list?

I'm a cell phone accessory retailer and I was wondering if anyone knew of a site where they always keep a current and up to date list of charger compatibilities for phones. With all the new phones always coming out and the new charger connections always changing, I was wondering if anyone knows of where I can find a site that has a page where they keep a list of compatibility for all chargers and phone? It would be such a help so I don't have to constantly hunt around to figure out which phones fit which chargers.

Treo 750 ring repeat delay

😳 So I have just purchased an unlocked 750 and love it, but the rings are...interesting. I have scoured here, Google and xda-dev but searches brought up nada....so, here it goes. The stock ringtones as well as the .mp3 files I loaded seem to have like a 3-4 second gap between when they play...i.e. if there is a call coming it, the phone will play the sound for 1 second (or however long it might be) and then wait 3-4 seconds before playing it again. This doesn't seem to be an issue with my friends' 650 or 700w/wx. This is really fairly annoying as it tends to make me miss calls...

I have a Cingular branded phone running WM5, if that means anything.

Thanks!

remove i265 antenna plug

This Motorola fone has a hard plastic disc which looks like the cover to the external antenna connector. I am scratching the living cr@p out of the back of this little plug by trying to pry it out with a knife. Any ideas on how to remove it?

Thanks,

Steve

A2DP with Curve 8310 (music via bluetooth)

The Curve supports A2DP, but for some reason, when my Motorola H681 (2.0) is paired, my music plays through the speakerphone on the phone, not the bluetooth headset.

Any ideas why?

Fresh meat!

Good morn everyone. I just registered so I guess I will need tags, shots or a secret handshake...I have been lurking for about two months, learning how to do all kinds of fun and time consuming things with my cellphone. I finally decided to throw myself upon the mercy of the established so I can ask a question or two..I may even be able to provide an answer or two; three may be too much.... 🤣

Jawbone 2 vs BlueAnt Z9i...which one is most comfortable? Best performing?

Currently have a Moto-710. Very comfortable and easy to use. But get constant complaints that I sound awful on it. Either they are telling me "you sound like your underwater", or the wind noise is so bad it garbles every other word.

Between the Jawbone 2 and the BlueAnt Z9i. Heard the Jawbone is fantastic as long as you can keep that little "nubbin" on your jaw/cheek. But yet there have been complaints about getting it to fit. The BlueAnt I heard doesn't go into the ear canal like the Jawbone, but rests just inside the fold of the ear. Is this more comfortable? Also no "nubbin" to worry about pressing on your jaw. But because of this, does it perform as well?

Opinions please! Maybe from someone who's owned and tried both.

Stereo Bluetooth Speakers

I am looking for a good speaker system to listen to my Mp3's from my phone while at home. (Without having a bulky Stereo Bluetooth headset on) I would prefer that it is a bluetooth system so I wouldn't have to plug the phone in. Does anyone have any suggestions for a speaker system?

Pricing Question

For retail employees and owners.

Depending on the area your store might be located prices my vary greatly.

I feel like my prices are right for my store but I wonder if I could raise them slightly.

Cords $10-15
Chargers $10-15
Leather cases and clips $10
Leather Pouches $15
Faceplates $15
Also, I tend to offer multiple accessories for discounted prices.

My store is located in a fairly densly populated area that I would consider Lower-Middle Class.

Any comments on my pricing?

Is the Motorokr that good?

I have been looking for a in car kit, and reviews on amazon and best buy highly praise the Motorokr T505 for $125.

Is it that good? Or is there something better. Price is not as much of a factor as quality. I think I would like a system that uses the car speakers like onstar does.

Is the T505 worth it? or is there something better out there ?

Any help would be appreciated. BTW I will be linking it to a LG 8700

Problem with headset

I have a Kyocera KX9D Oystr phone. I have tried a couple of hands free corded headsets but the answer/end button doesn't work. I plug in the 2.5 mm plug into the phone's jack and I can hear the phone ringing in the headset but when I push the answer/end button to answer the phone nothing happens. The phone keeps ringing and then goes to voice mail. Anyone know what could be wrong? Anyone know which headset would work with my phone and if so what retail stores sell it?
