BB Curve calendar reminder

I have a BES in my office and every Blackberry i used before the AT&T Curve gave me my calendar reminders on my BB as well as my desktop. Could it be a device issue, or do I need a BES software upgrade of some sort? ๐Ÿ˜•

I purchased a Pioneer Navigation with the Bluetooth (cd-btb200) for my vehicle and the only way to have a contact list is to tranfer it from a phone. I have verizon and they dont allow that. Does anyone know if there is some way to transfer my contact list, maybe with 3rd party software and from my computer?

Help...tetherig a Treo 680 with Tmobile...

My friend has a Treo 680 on T-Mobile and wants to tether it. They tell him he needs to pay 30 dollars for the software. I use my Blackjack to tether and ended up not needing ATT communication manager, which is the software ATT told me to get. So I am going to assume you can do the treo the same way. Anyone know?

Motorola KRZR Images Download

I have a Motorola KRZR and it has over 100 Pix Messages that I would like to download. Currently, the only way I can figure to do it is to forward each text message to my email account.

I would like to know if there is a way for me to transfer all of my pictures from my phone to my computer - like a file manager or something.

I bought Motorola Phone Tools (MPT) thinking that this would solve my problem, but all that tool allows me to do is edit my contacts and my calendar. I didn't see any way to download my pictures and video.

Please tell me how I can accomplish this.

Thanks!
Rick

iPod vs. Mobile phone. Do carriers have a chance in the mobile entertainment battle?

It is the strangest thing. The iPod and podcasting have proven that users will gladly overcome complex routines in order to take their entertainment with them when they are on the go. Some of us transfer MP3 files from the PC and enjoy music. Others subscribe to podcasts. Both usages requires a user to actively connect a media device to a PC and transfer content โ€“ an action which I personally find technically challenging. Yet people do it. Over 100,000,000 iPods have been sold so far.

On the other hand, the cellular industry has repeatedly tried to get us to use data entertainment services on our phones. Internet became Mobile Internet. Television became Mobile TV. Despite the investment of billions of dollars in data networks, ...

Wireless Card and Windows Vista (Cingular)

I have a question about customers who purchase a Cingular wireless internet card and installing the software to a laptop with Windows Vista. Are there any issues people need to know about before installing the software or will it work the same way as when installing to a computer with XP? Thanks in advance.

Best Smartphone OS

I'm switching to AT&T and I wanna know some user opinions on a few of the smartphone's operating systems.

I would like to know the pros and cons about the following smartphone os:

1.blackberry (also, is thumbwheel or trackball 2.better?)
3.palm os
4.windows mobile for smartphones
5.nokia 9300 or e62 symbian

also, is it a good idea to purchase phones refurbished from AT&T if necessary?

thanks-

Best Carrier/Device for Data Access

OK I am looking for a PDA phone with good wireless high speed access. Size is an issue because I like to carry it in my pocket.

I have seen Sprint has good speeds, and am considering the Moto Q, but feel like the phone may be a little dated.

I heard that AT&T/Cingular has 3g now, will their internet speeds be as fast? I like that Samsung Blackjack.

Any other thoughts?

I am with Helio now, which I think uses the Sprint network, but no PDA phones.

Also, I'd like to use my phone as a modem on occasion. Does At&T allow this?

Tethering my Blackjack....Help

How do I get my computer to use my service from the phone? I have turned on modem mode on the Blackjack but I cant figure out how to get my computer to use the 3g service to connect. I have installed the drive. Since I don't have any other internet connection at home I can read the users manual for the Blackjack since its online only.

at&t data use flagging?

Does anyone know how much data needs to be transfered before at&t will flag the account. I know people can tether devices every now and again and not need to pay the extra money for the data plan. I am just wondering how long I can get away with tethering while I'm only on the PDA connect plan

Alltel vs. ATT on price's of internet usage

At ATT you have to pay $59 to use INTERNET from phone to laptop. But on Alltel you only pay
$25 for MobileLink,ExcessMobile, or whatever you call it. Is their a way to stay with ATT
to get this price or am I going to have to switch to Alltel to get this low price?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bluetooth

Just got a new cd player for my car that has bluetooth capability. I'm a Verizon customer and am about to get a new phone/contract. However, I've heard that Verizon "waters down" their products. Does this apply to the bluetooth? One feature I really want to use is to transfer my phone book to the head unit? Will I be able to do this with Verizon? Which phones?

Sprint Data Cards and Windows Vista

Every data card (especially the U720) that my store tries to set up for a Vista computer has been more than complicated. If anybody has found any shortcuts or has any tips that has made the installation easier please let me know. (Usually the problems spring up after the cd is loaded because the programming window does not pop up and isn't available under menu-settings.) Tech support continues to say there is nothing to do but keep trying because it's vista not the card.

Has anyone used at&t's Video Share??

It has launched in 3 cities but not here. If its in your city, what phones have they launched with it? How well does it work? I don't know about anyone else but I can only think of dirty things to do with it. In case you aren't familiar with Video Share, it allows you to send streaming video to whoever you are on the phone yet but it only does it one way, full video conferencing will be next!!!
