33% of my chats so far today have been from CHINA, and EVERY SINGLE ONE has asked, MULTIPLE TIMES, to be transferred to tech support to unlock their iPhone. What the hell? Did someone over there post on a giant forum that we can do that? Seriously. Starting to piss me off. On top of the fact that my phone is practically bricked. UGH.

Fraud Call(s)

so a guy who fit the profile of a current fraud ring calls me, verifies the account, is way too familiar with my department's call flow and order of operations, and struck me as fishy. He was able to verify the acct and there were no recent orders or notes or alerts on the account so I proceeded to help him-- until he wanted the phone billed to the account AND the phone sent to a different address-- both of which I can do but 😕
I placed him on hold and expressed my concerns to a supv, supv said flat out refuse to send the phone to any address but the billing address. Custy flipped out and was insistant and went back and forth with me for about ten minutes, and I couldn't outright accuse him. I finally said:

Our CS has reached an insane point.

Half of us are working 1 campaign some are work 2 and if you're lucky, like me, you're working 4 different campaigns at one time. Each back to back call has different procedures and processes that must be followed, oh did I mention I've had training in only 2 of the three I'm expected to work?!?

I've been cussed out 6 times today. I'm going to flip out. 👿

I worked in call centers for years

before I knew about the 'aftercall' button 🤣


I'm reeaaaallly good at multitasking on calls and being ready for the next call before current call is over.

Dear Care Rep,

I understand you feel you don't actually HAVE to do your job because you can simply send it on here to back office, for us to fix, but if you're going to not do your job, DON'T DO IT AT ALL! Don't half ass it, make it 10X harder to work! Just stop.

Also, if you're going to "warm" transfer a call, try to actually "warm transfer" it. NEWSFLASH:

Rep: The customer's on the line her name is @#%^$@#%@# here you go!

I came to this place with the hopes of lasting a few weeks. I've lasted two years, and have been lumped in with all walks of life who desperately needed a job in this economy. In short, I feel incredibly lucky to have known some of the most resourceful, hardworking and sincere people I have ever met during my time here.

Breaking the Law, Breaking the law

So had a customer call in, needed to replace his Internet Card, because the old one was overheating and not holding a charge. Not eligible for 6 months and outside warranty.

Upgraded him to a 4g internet card for $0.00, no upgrade fee, priority shipping no charge.

He had a grandfathered plan of $35.00 3gb data, which couldn't carry over to the new device, so I set him up on a $29.99 Unlimited laptop connect data plan.....

Needless to say made for a happy custy.

custy: That's awesome, he said I could get an early upgrade

me: PLZ TELL HIM TO NOTE IT ON YOUR ACCOUNT AND GET HIS REP ID

custy: Oh no, he says I don't need that done. All you have to do is call your support line and they will make the changes

me: .... *calls support line* *explains situation*

new rep: sorry, we can't do that

me: He was just talking to a customer service rep from his line and they said that it was no problem. Aren't there any notes? Aren't location codes logged when accounts are accessed.

new rep: sorry, theres nothing here on his account and nothing we can do. *click*

me: FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Oooops!!!!

Ok. My last call of the day yesterday. Custy is PO'D. Has an outage, to be exact is a Network Vision Update. Wants a credit and a Supe.I knew I had to get him off my line so I transfered him to my TL's line which is right next to me to finish the call. 😎 So I pull up the Network Grid. I'm in Tech. I look at the towers and hit MY mute.( Remember he's on the line next to me!) I just went WOW!!! 😲 when I saw the Grid . I hear a voice say thats what they all say!!! I call my Supe over and proceed to say to her, WOW Look at this effin ish.Sh!t this effin guys whole effin grid is down !!! You ever effin seen this ish. WTF!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 My Supe looks down at the phone I'm Really on, Not mine thats muted, and say, your not on mute ...
