I keep getting HTTP 500 errors all over the place on the site the last couple days! If I hit the "back" button, I get an error that says "There are no available nodes to service your request" and then nothing works!

I can make the site work if instead of www I type in www2 and then it all loads! Is this related to your tinkering with the site or is my crappy work internet all jacked up again! All other sites seem to work correctly though! Thought you might like to know!

Great news: we've just published our first in-depth phone review! 😁

When I first started Phone Scoop, I wanted the site to be different. I wanted to focus on the things that other sites weren't doing, or weren't doing well. Also, as a one-person operation, my resources were limited.

So I started out focusing on specs, and I stayed away from doing my own reviews, because everyone else was already doing that.

These days, Phone Scoop is a much larger site, and it's no longer just a one-person operation. In looking for ways to expand, phone reviews seemed like a natural next step.

My philosophy hasn't changed, though. I didn't want to start doing phone reviews if it was just going to duplicate what everyone else was already doing....

Just started having that error in the forums pages- it lets me in once I hit refresh a couple times. Just thought you'd want to know

I don't know if this is directly related or not, but I've noticed over the last couple weeks, the log-in error seems to occur more often when the traffic on the site is up. I used the forum a couple late nights last week and never had a problem with it. Thought you might like to know.

Hey Rich, you want to consider blocking Kingfrog from the VZW forum? If you read his posts, they're all nuthin' but trolling, ad nauseum.

I think Cain should be allowed back in, he made a mistake and he probably has learned from his mistake. Cain provides great information to people and is good part of this forum.

Would you let him back in if I get enough people to reply to this post agreeing that Cain should be let back in?

Just wanted to say PhoneScoop.com is a great site and I always look into phones using the site and read all the reviews. Almost always they are helpful and it seems like the site is often updated!

"Box" has been making repeated inane posts to the forum regarding the Sanyo MM-5600, and it seems his whole purpose is to infuriate and flame the other users. He has more than likely disparaged other users with his frequent use of profanity, which doesn't really have a place when you're discussing features of a cell phone.... maybe if you're dissatisfied with a company's customer service, but not when discussing a phone you don't even own.

First, once again, I am working my hardest and fastest to get the logout issues resolved ASAP...

But while I wait for other parties involved to help me get that resolved, I haven't abandoned making improvements to the rest of the site.

Clicking that link will now take you to a new set of user pages. You can now see how long the user has been a member. So i will log in to the site & have it save my info. I post a few messages, then i get the following:

ERROR

My cookies are enabled & I delete them once a week, but i get this error many times a day. HELP!

I posted this question in the General category, but I thought it may pertain to this forum as well. I inadvertantly purchased a sidekick II from one of the "shop" links, from a site called Wirefly I believe. The final price I paid was $74, and they are sending me 2 $50 rebates, making the total price of my phone -$25. I just wanted to make sure this was a reputable site, and that I didn't just totally get scammed or something. Any help would be great.

I know this is getting old from me, but just now the site logged me out, then i went to logg back in, went to a forum, logged me out, logged back in, same thing!!!!! Three times!!!

Is this just happeneing to me?

Yesterday within 25 minutes, it logged me out 3 times also.

Driving me nuts!

Just out of curiousity, I noticed the message ID numbers have tipped 200,000. Could you post the link to the lucky message that got number 200,000? Did they get a prize? Was it deeply philosophical? Please post the link?! 😛

The current wap site is (no offense Rich) a little lame. Anyone else here itchin' for a more extensive WAP version of PhoneScoop? I like the way that you can access forums & post from your mobile on HoFo, but this site is much cooler. Better sense of community here. Also, HoFo gets really congested with everyone's "avatars" having to be displayed & so-forth.
