BlackBerry Bold 9900

Hi, guys!
I see that your page for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 shows it as discontinued with T-Mobile and AT&T. http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p= 3289
What is your source for that status? Curious as it is showing as active in AT&T.

...and we're back

We had an extended site outage today. I apologize for the inconvenience.

It was due to server maintenance scheduled by our hosting provider that ran about 11 hours longer than scheduled. We expected downtime of about three hours in the middle of the night, but things went awry and we had to wait for our hosting provider to fix things on their end. They ran into problems with the automated configuration of networking for a large number of servers (including ours) and had to fix it manually.

Again, sorry! Everything is back up and working now. We will continue to monitor for any post-maintenance hiccups.

New on the site: Photos pages & more

We've added a tab to our phone pages called "Photos". It collects our primary photos of a given phone together with any hands-on photos we've published of that phone, and links to the articles that feature those photos.

We've also made it so that the Photos tab and the (relatively new) News tab can be viewed before we've published a full specs page.

A good example at the moment would be if you search for "Q5". You'll find a link to our BlackBerry Q5 News page, and the Q5 Photos tab shows both the official and our hands-on photos.

As always, we'd love to hear feedback on these new site features. Smile

ADOBE FLASH PLAYER

I had the droid charge cell phone thru verizon and i was able to download the abobe flash player so I could watch cams like Port Everglades or Niagara Falls. I ungraded to the samsung galaxy s3 and i cant download that app. Verizon says it is because the phone operates under the jelly bean system. Does anyone know if they will soon be compatable and is there another app which works as good as adobe? any help would be appreciated.

Search for multiple-SIM capable telephones

Is there a way to search your DB for telephones that support multiple SIMs? If yes, how? If not, please add this feature.

Suggestion for new phone spec to list

Whether a phone uses mini/micro/nano SIM cards. That's really useful, especially for people looking to just swap SIM cards between phones.

Forum Search!

Whoo hoo! Very Happy

By popular demand, there is now a search function for the forums. At the bottom of any forum list page, there is a simple search box to search that forum, or all forums.

It's still "beta", so please give it a try, and let me know if you run into any problems. Thanks!

Sprint Nextel Forum

I am assuming the aforementioned will go away at the end of June. How about combining the Boost and Virgin Mobile forums together as well?

HTML emails from the site

We're starting to pretty up our system emails just a tad. Nothing crazy - we like to keep things simple, after all - but forum reply emails should now have some very basic HTML formatting.

As there are a wide variety of email clients and we don't have the ability to test on every single one, please let us know if you run into any serious issues with the new email format. Thanks!
