Verizon and qwest......a dissaster waiting to happen

I would keep your verizon bill as far away from qwest as possible.

I predict verizon will have to clean up a lot of qwest nightmare cs issues. Dealing with qwest cs is a nightmare.

Hopefully this is a step in the direction of verizon taking qwest over. If this happens, verizon (or buying company) needs to fire all qwest call center employees and start from scratch. qwest is a example of how unions can make your employees worthless.

the thought of qwest handeling verizon bills is scary.

Ok, I am experiencing the first Qwest to Verizon switch nightmare!

As we are making the switch from Qwest to Verizon on the phone out of the clear blue sky they said "Oh by the way we have an unpaid bill from 2005 and if you don't pay it we will cancel all of your service and not allow you to switch to Verizon" We did have a dispute in 2005 over a $200 bill but it was resolved. Now when we called the right department back to fix it they have no record of the dispute or of any of the conversations.

We have received no correspondence even though they claim it went to collections and my bills are current and have been for three yours of the "Past due bill"

The only trigger here is the transfer and now they are saying it is up to me t...
