doesn't quest own and market their own phones? They are a MVNO meaning they just use verizon's network. They decide what phone and all you can get not verizon.

Not anymore. They resell VZW now and are trying to move everyone off their old MVNO Sprint platform.

My point is are the a retailer for Verizon or are they a MVNO for verizon. I doubt they are reselling service for verizon and in fact just using their network instead of sprints.

Qwest IS now an Authorized Agent for Verizon Wireless, not an MVNO.

So why buy through them? You get billed by verizon and serviced by verizon. I always say go directly to the source it saves time and hassle in most cases.

And since this seems to be true via the quest website why in the world is quest still a forum with the other current companies?? Moderators should have moved it off the main page.

Here are qwest subscribers options on switching to Verizon Wireless:

Through Qwest: Waived early termination fees, almost free phones (even up to Blackberry devices etc..) Waived activation fees, and instant mail in rebates. Qwest will give you unique pricing on phones based on what you currently have. ie: BB to BB, katana to chocolate or equivalent phone.

Through Verizon: You will be charged your early termination fees for quitting qwest earlier than your contract allows, you will pay regular price on all your phones. You will pay activation fees, and you will be bound to mail in rebates.

So really, if you have qwest and want the best deal on switching to Verizon, please go through qwest to do so, they obviously are the better deal...

If you have bundled products (wireless, home phone, internet ect.) then you will get information in the mail to go to a qwest location or call CS to switch to VZW, Probabley Oct. Nov. time frame. If you just have a wireless account then you can do it right now if you want. You get a free phone based on the current phone you have (low end, mid, or high end phone)... or 25% off any other phone vzw offers.
