Sad sad little qwest forum. I used to like them when we used to sell them, but then they pulled themselves from every store and closed all their direct stores. Big mistake. Now their customers are suffering for it, no place in town to go buy Qwest phones. You have to go with the internet order or do it over the phone.

I'd have to see a phone in person before I buy it off the internet or even worse over the phone.

Qwest is a baby Bell company that services the a lot of the western region of the United States. They also are an MVNO through SprintPCS. I don't know about other places, but here in Washington their wireless service isn't very good (they charge a lot and their coverage isn't that great). I have their landline service for local calling, and they've slammed my long distance twice now, and then charged me to remove it (so let's just say I don't like them very much). I also use their DSL service at work - it's okay, but not as fast as Comcast (the other service available in my area), even though its roughly the same price. Qwest got in trouble a couple of years ago for some 'creative bookkeeping' and recently tried to acquire MCI (another ...

Yeah, I got grumpy and dumped my Qwest landline about five years ago when it occurred to me that they were trying to charge me more for calling 15 miles across town than my wireless provider would charge for calling across the continent... 🙄 I resist wired services, no DSL, won't have cable, waiting for satellite internet to get reasonable... Down with the Qwest/Comcast governmentally granted monopoly! Schmucks...
