Qwest Wireless Robbed Me

Qwest Wireless sold me a wonderful Katana phone for $100, but even before my phone arrived, Qwest started giving it away for free. I felt that since I had not even received or activated the phone, my phone should fall under the new pricing. Qwest, however, did not agree. I appealed to my State's Attorney General's Office, which agreed with me. Despite this, Quest has refused to remove the charge from my bill, and my Attorney General's office has advised me to take Qwest to small claims court.

Quite frankly, I do not have time to take Quest to small claims court, so I am tied by a 2-year service contract with a $200 penalty to a company that has robbed me of $100.

For the record, you have 15 days from when the phone is activated to cancel with no penalty. If you choose to go that route, you can return the phone at no charge, then re-order under the current promotion (assuming you qualify). It may be a hassle, but at least you'll get the rebate. 😁
