qwest will get mcip or verizon? why or why not?
do you think that qwest will be facing chapter 11 after this deal or if there is no deal? state why people
by the way i am just starting a debate, not a war. thanks.
...
i dont think qwest is going to have to file for chapter 11, i really think qwest has a chance they just need to figure what the hell there doing sometimes
...
i guess, but they dont have a growth story. it would be better to file chapter 11 now, then to suffer and have to lay off people now.
they have a terrible business model and a lot of debt. their assets are quite attractive, though. but why would someone want that company (qwest) that has all that problems, when they could just buy their assets for 10 cents on the dollar.
...
you know im not sure of all there problems to be honest, but if they did the chap 11, i dont believe it would be too healthy for denver's econemy, and i think they might feel a little pressured by that fact, but then again your right, going for the chap 11 now and then to start to rebulid is better then a slow death(laying of employees). so its i guess better just get it over with now and re build!
...
i agree!!
i love denver, but you just have to cut your losses now, then rebuild and try again. look at worldcomm. they filed chapter 11 obviously laid off tons of people and now mci is doing quite well. so its time to rebuild.
just like any sports team that is doing terrible. draft well, rebuild and win a championship.
...
you know one example is Cricket, they also filed for chapter 11 a while back and now look at them, they're doing really well, thay are now doing roaming! they have brew, and great service! so yes again i think qwest should look at its surroundings, because its very possible for qwest to be come a good competitor in the wirelesss industry!
...
interesting perspective, however, qwest has a lot of debt and doesnt have a growth story. therefore i dont think that they will be a good competitor in the wirless industry. cricket isnt a good play either in the industry.
if you think that they cam compete against the big boy are you are mistaken. mvno's, however, are a very good revenue stream for the big boys to generate revenue, as i said, while decrease cpga (cost per gett acquisition), but wont be competitors against the bigger boys.
...
IF THIS IS TRUE, QWEST WILL GO OUT OF BUSINESS COMPLETELY
