Tethering with a MAC?

Is it possible to tether with a MAC and Alltel?

I would have to say it depends on the phone and what you are trying to do. If you have a Windows Mobile phone and download and install WMWifi router there would be no need to tether.

check at software.alltel.com it has MAC as an operating system. also you can check if your phone is on there.

You either have to purchase a cable for the mac (used to available through smith micro) or bluetooth teather. Most MAC already come equipped with bluetooth anyways. The Bluetooth tether on mac is pretty solid.

No, you can't. End of story. It doesn't matter what phone you have, because Quicklink Mobile is only available no the Mac for Aircards. But you could always get one of those. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

๐Ÿคจ I have been tethering my Pearl to my PowerBook over USB and have also successfully tethered it via Bluetooth. I have also tethered my wife's Moto Hint to her PowerBook via USB and Bluetooth.

It is entirely possible.
