6800 was actually not originally intended for sprint, it was intended for verizon. and ndragisic is partly correct about alltel when it comes to phones. alltel in the past has waited till other carriers market and test phones prior to releasing them. in my opinion its a smart move. Alltel now is starting to get allthe new phones about at the same time. also samsung has made a couple of phones specificaly for alltel. Back to the 6800, Alltel is releasing it during July, latest early august. the utstarcom ppc 6700 was discontinued by alltel a couple of months ago due the 6800 was already in the plans.
