New Nextel Customer

I just became a Nextel customer and bought the new i730 phone, it is a great phone! I saw a reply from another message that their camera phone will be coming out next summer, does anyone have an oppinion on that? Would you go with the first camera phone that comes out (presuming you want one of course) or wait until perhaps the 3rd/4th one after it is perfected? (By Moterola/Nextel).

I also just bought i730 and like this phone very mush, as far-as the camera phone, as long as I have a good phone( i730 ) I'd wait and see how the other guy likes it on this site.

Yes, this i730 is such a great phone! It did take me awhile to learn all of its features though, I am a former Sprint customer and not used to Moterola, but now that I figured it all out, I just love it, I can not see myself going back!

My wife wants the i930 which comes out after the i860 is will be the first camera phone. Motorola is making camera phones, so I think they will be fine. The big question is do you want the i860 or the i930 which will run on the microsoft smartphone software.

That is a very good question, I will have to see both phones and compare all the features. I am a gadget person and use every single feature a phone can possibly offer, date book, calculator, misc ringers, you name it! Are both these phones being released at around the same time frame?

The i860 is suppose to be released in July or August, and they are talking November 04 for the i930. A couple of other places to look for phone information if you haven't already is ideninsiders.com or howardforums.com both have loads of info. ideninsiders has a lot of flaming though, and foul language just to let you know.

I try. My wife says I'm addicted to cell phones. Nextels are my favorites. I was a verizon customer at one time. Now that I have nextel, I'll never go back.

Yes I agree! I am a phone junkie myself, always have to have the latest and greatest! My friends say I should go into corporate phone sales, but I would not make any money, it would all be spent on my own cell toys!

uhhhhhh.... a smartphone for nextel. you guys realize that nextel offer's the slowest data speeds and will continue to offer the slowest unless they completely change to a new network. viewing internet explorer from a nextel phone is going to be like watching paint dry. a camera phone? nextel doesn't offer mms and probably never will. you're gonna have a camera phone w/o the ability to send and recieve pictures to other phones. not very ex...

I'm sorry, do you think you know everything. Do you go to the Nextel site and read the news they post? Do read the news here in phonescoop or other forums? Nextel may be slow now, but they are working on it. If you don't like Nextel fine, enjoy whatever you're using, but it ain't direct connect, and its not as secure.
