"High Tech Computer (HTC) has secured an ODM order for iDEN ( integrated Digital Enhanced Network) wireless handsets from Motorola, with shipments to begin sometime in the second half of this year, according to Taiwanese handset makers."

Looks like the i930's will be shipping to the US sometime in June. Finally!!! 😁

Are we really happy about this? I remember selling Bell Atlantic Mobile and Motorola jobbing out the manufacture of handsets to the Koreans... E.G: BAM 110... It was not a happy time to sell Motorola product. I hope the necessity to deploy a smart phone has not diminished the companies standards. I do not know for sure but dent HTC build some phones for Audiovox... Sold by Verizon? The **** I hate about those phones is stuff like "form fit batteries"... You know batteries that ONLY fit that phone... It would be beat if the i930 was like that... No flexibility in the field and obsolete as soon as new models appear.

It is what it is.
