Was browsing Sprint's website, and they took down all of their iDEN phones. Nextel is officially done. End of an era of exceptional PTT.

Yep. My local retailer said that May 18 was the last day Sprint would sell new Nextel iDEN phones. iDEN (in the US anyway) is not long for this world. Enjoy it while you can.

That's great to hear, but how is it working for you? I tried the DuraPlus, and it had broken speakerphone section. Traded it in for a second one, it had the same problem.
Sometimes the DuraPlus speakerphone was loud & clear, sometimes it was a useless whisper. The techs at the local Sprint corporate store tried & tried to make it work correctly, but on regular vouce calls in speakerphone mode, two handsets in a row were no good. Had to give up on the DuraPlus and reactivate the old phone (an i58sr that was about nine years in use, still works great).
Have you used your DuraPlus in speakerphone for regular voice calls?
