I have a business with 32 lines that are all still under contract. I need to cancel all my lines. Is there any way to do this without incurring $6400 in ETF's? Please help!
...
you of all people (a business owner) should not be asking this question...
what product or services do you offer?
...
ok why do you need to get all 32 lines out of contract. nobody will be able to give you an answer with out that info.

We have a few large projects that we are doing now and through the course of the year. At these locations Nextel doesn't provide any coverage whatsoever. So there is no way to communicate with my employees. Not to mention the coverage at our office is dismal anyways, but the coverage map says we have great signal.

Actually, Nextel DOES provide coverage in remote locations. It's called Directalk. It's an off-network walkie-talkie that has a range of about 6 miles.
Btw, if the coverage at your main place of business is bad, you can also look into Wilson repeaters and antennas.

What is your Zip code, and the area that you will be working in? I can check if Verizon PTT will work. I am 100% sure it will, but just to make sure if that is allright with you.

Where I work, Verizon is spotty at best. Don't make promises you can't keep.

As opposed to you, the voice of reason? 🙄
...
the one with the answer more than you did, thousands are canceling every day ETF FREE! The OP can too!
...
Thats not going to work for you. Busniess account generally do not pay admin fees and therefore can not have the ETF's waived.
I'll be honest. I work in retention and taking 32 deacts can ruin a reps month; possibly even get them fired. So nobody is going to be anxious to cancel you even if there were no contracts.
Just keep calling and try to get to management. They may cut you a deal and you'll pay less, but if somebody has to eat 32 deactivations you are probably going to pay something
...
Oh it will work you guys are pushovers! 🤣 A million + mofo's are leaving every three months another 32 more won't matter! 🤣 🤣 🤣
...
Maybe, but he is going to get the run around. I have worked here for two years and I have NEVER taken a 32 line deactivation. Im telling you. This guy is going to have a hard time getting those ETF's comepletely waived. I dare say NO WAY. The best he can hope for is to pay half.
...
The million+ that leave are not cancelling ETF free. It is funny how you always twist everythign arounf
...
I never said they were learn to read!
...
Well, stop giving information that is skewed and makign people think that if they call and say I wanna cancel because of this fee, they can. LEARN all the information befor eyou post it to people. Business dont pay the admin fee and are ineligble for this PLUS it is no longer a valid reason to cancel with no etf.
...
They can leave even a business account! 🙄 You apparently don't know much about sprint, that's ok but pls try to keep up.
...
HAHA. Whatever. You arent worth time fighting over.
...
trust me. Im in retention. Most business account dont pay admin fees and as such are not able to cancel ETF free because of the change.
Not to mention the date is not the same for everybody. It 30 days from when they recieved notice on the bill.

You should call and see if they'll send you a CDMA device to see if it works better. If it does then see if they'll work with you to replace your iDEN devices with CDMA ones.
That failing, you should bite the bullet. If you're ditching everything they don't really have any incentive to mitigate it for you. As a business owner, you should be sympathetic to another company abiding by a mutually agreed contract. I've no idea what business you do, but as a customer I would completely avoid a company whose owner sought to break contracts for their sole benefit regardless of pre-agreed terms.
...
definitely try the CDMA route; we got my father-in-law's drivers on NDC on Sprint and they're loving it, and they drive all over throughout rural Oregon. any retention agent worth his salt will do their best to work with you on this.
...
oh by the way how far along are you in your contract(s)?
