I get no signal where i moved to and still $200.00/ line to cancel..
I know several people who've done this ironically with VZW.

type in your address, if it comes up in a coverage area then its $200 per line, if you zoom in and its in a white(non-coverage) area then you should have been able to get out of the agreement with no etf.
if it shows service get airave
Right, get Airwave. Pay even more a month because Nextel (Since this is the Nextel forum) can't provide you service. ๐ก
Wait, did I just say pay a company more because they can't provide you with what your already paying for? ๐คจ
Dose Airwave even work with Nextel? ๐ฒ

No, it doesn't. But Verizon and T-Mobile also provide similar services.

Oh, I know the others have this type of service. I think TMO was the first, understandably with their smaller coverage area. But it would appear that the other carrier's ears perked up and thought "hey that would be a great way to gouge our customers even more a month."
And maybe in the case of the original poster it's another way to keep customers from breaking their contract due to lack of coverage?
"What, you don't get coverage?" "Do you have broadband internet?" "Great, here's a wireless router plug it in and you'll have coverage now." "And your next bill is due tomorrow." ๐

the charges for hotspot @ home and airave arent much. and if your service works everywhere else you are, but you have patchy coverage at home, its def worth it. plus with sprint you can normally get it for free.
Yep, in about a year and a half, I've never seen one customer that pays for Airrave. Not the equipment, not the service. Even if you have to pay the service, what's an extra $10 a month to avoid a $200 ETF?
The basic monthly cost is 4.99 per month.
For $10 per month one phone will have the ability to make unlimited calls thru the device without using anytime minutes.
For $20 per month 5 lines would have this ability.
