I regret to inform you that I did not have a camera crew following my movements at that time, so proof would be a little hard to come by. I'm not here to argue, just stating my personal experience. If you insist I am wrong, I cannot change your mind. My service was out for 2-3 hours, but soon after, Verizon had set up a portable tower nearby and my service was working again. Granted, the reception was not the best, but did allow me to make calls to loved ones to inform them that I was alive and well. I was with a person that did have direct connect, and yes, they were able to use the service the entire time. I'm not sure what you are attempting to argue about here, but this will be my last post in this section.
