Hey guys does anyone knows about this?

I have been told this is possible if you flash your phone or rewrite its firmware.

Then you could add the other carrier (cdma network) info so it can read it.

I would like to see if I can find more info or how to flash a phone to make it work on another carrier.

I have several phones I dont use because they are disconected and were from previous carriers I had service to.

I have service with metro pcs but they have simple phones only while I would like to get another phone from sprint or verizon and flash it so I can use it on their network.

If any of you knows how to do it or where can I find more info please let me know. I know more people would be interested in this info as well.

Yes its possible, but you need to talk to the reps at Metro PCS. Theyre the ones that reflash the phone. But if you want it to work for Web/Media it wont work. It'll work simply to make/receive calls.
