Why is Sprint calling & trying 2 get people to switch from the free incoming plans & to a cdma plan & phone? If I am forced to go to cdma I will be pissed & probably switch to AT&T & from what I hear Sprint doesn't need to keep losing customers.

Well I really don't think they're calling to get you off from your current plan due to the fact that they currently offer free incoming plans on their CDMA side as well.

As for the real reason for their calls, they may be trying to get as many people over to their CDMA side as possible because eventually Nextel's network will be shut down anyways due to it's degrading technology and iferiority to CDMA and GSM.
