KEEP TRAC OF YOURE PHONE CALLS AND BILLS...
THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND, THEIRE COMPUTER SYSTEM
WILL REGENERATE THE SAME CALLS YOU MADE ON PREVEWS BILLS SO YOUR BILL WILL LOOK THE SAME OR MORE EXPENSIVE! EVEN IF YOU DO NOT USE YOURE PHONE... I BEEN WORKING WITH NEXTEL SERVICE FOR OVER 8 OR 9 YEARS... AND DID NOT PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE BILLS, AND JUST KEPT PAYING UNTIL RECENTLY DID SOME REASERCH, AND THE COMPANY SAY'S IM WRONG... BUT HAVE GOOD PROVE OF IT... IM USING A SPRINT PLAN, VERRY SIMILIAR TO THIS ONE, AND KEPT TRACK OF IT ON THE WEB, USE IT FOR ONE MONTH AND PUT MY NEXTEL DOWN, AND STILL SEND ME A BILL SIMILIAR OF MY LAST INVOICE EVEN IF I DID NOT USED IT... AND THEY STILL SAY THAT IM USING MY PHONE, AND HAVE TO PAY FOR IT...! NEXTE...

Funny...been with NEXTEL for the better part of 2 years and have never had a billing issue with them and the usage is depicted as I use the phone, hence very litte cellular and mostly Direct Connect and the bill is the same from month to month.

NEXTEL wasn't sold...I have no idea where you get that information. They used to be called FleetCall about 10 years ago but that has been the only name change that they have had.

Oh..BTW, Loose the CAPS. It gets old really fast.

I've been with Nextel a little over a year. No problems, and probably the best customer service I've ever had. I used to be a verizon customer, Now when that merger happened customer service went down hill.

Are you sure you were not seeing billing from a cycle that started before you quit using the phone. that just sounds way to unreal. You absolutely did not make one call??? Was it delayed billing??? If you are so sure it is valid did you file a report with the FCC?? I think Nextel is not so good for voice quality, coverage and customer service but fraud???? I don't know about that.

So, to clarify:

1)Company has never been sold, just grew out of a number of smaller companies that operated mainly under the name FleetCall

2) JD Power award winner as the best Cust service in the wireless industry. Kind of like saying they suck the least out of an industry where cust service is not great. 🤣

3) No way Nextel could be, or would even think about committing the kind of fraud you imply, Mistake on their end, sure, could be a billing error. Mistake on your end? Could be. Understanding billing forward and/or arrears can be confusing sometimes. Nextel could not risk the kind of large scale fraud you're indicating on large numbers of customers. Just too big a risk. So, are we supposed to believe they're just pic...

I here at AT&T WIreless customer care get customers calling in all the time claiming they never made a some call on their bill... funny how its only the customers who went over their minutes or were roaming never those who wern't charged LOL. We have systems that allow us to verify the ESN, the time, date, relative location, minutes call was charged for, etc. Customers never get it.. we WILL NOT credit reguardless of what they say. IF they think its such a big issue I ENCOURAGE them to go to court and have us subpoena the info and prove to them they made the stupid call. LOL.

You know what I find amazing...... Cellular companies don't post the numbers of incoming calls. they have to know who it is because of caller id. I've met several people who were being harrassed on there cell phone, and the companies said there was nothing they could do outside of changing the cellular users number. Thats not right. I think they should be able to produce who's number was calling, so that you can go to court and have the person punished instead of you (by way of changing the number). Any opinions?

It is for legal reason. Some people have their numbers blocked and if we were to provide that info we would be held liable. Yes if the info is subpoenaed then we can provide the info.

All I know is my buddy's ex wife was harrassing him on his cell vzw phone, and when they went to court, he couldn't prove it, because they stated they couldn't track incoming numbers, which doesn't make sense to me.

WRONG, Verizon was rated #1 in customer service. ATT and Cingular tied for 2nd, and T-Mobile was third.

This is another survey done. How many of them are out there. The surveys most consumers use are Consumer Reports and JD Power. Which most have us rated number one in the country.

Are you using Nextel, or Nextel partners? I've heard similar stories from partners customers. They use the Nextel system, but they are on there own billing system seperate from Nextel.
