Nothing is new there because everyone knew that this merger would take some time because of a culture difference among management. This company definitely has the assets, products/solutions, and deals in order to be the top of the industry but they must execute and reach the customers. So far, only prepaid and Power Vision seems to be the leader, but this must change in order to be stronger in the future.

Hi Nextel18!!!!

I think that the Sprint and Nextel merger is going to be much more difficult to integrate than when Cingular bought and absorbed AT&T Wireless because Sprint and Nextel are on two seprate technologies.

ATTWS and Cingular were identical in technologies and networks. gotta run, bye!

Love me.

That's exactly right. Also, Sprint won't do away with Nextel, because there is nothing else like it on the market today. In terms of PTT, it can't be beat...not even by seemingly everyone's beloved Verizon. 🙄

Verizon is not a player in the PTT game. Cingular is sprints main opponent in PTT.

Yea, but Cingular and ATTWS were identical although it took 2+ years to “transfer” the assets and migrate the customers over to TDMA to GSM and they still are having problems. Obviously, with the Sprint/Nextel merger there would be more problems with the transition but not as much as Cingular/ATTWS experienced.
