they'll run your credit and you may have a deposit, but seeing on how strict nextel is with its credit policy, they may deny you altogether due to your lack of credit....

That is not true at all. Since Sprint merged with Nextel the credit evaluations have been the same on both sides of the company. So iif you get 2lines 150 deposit with sprint and try running your credit with nextel you will get approved with the same credit score. No doubt you will get approved. but will have to put up 150 deposit since you have no credit. Everyone that applies will get approved even if you have no credit. (except if you have a write off with nextel or sprint)

that doesn't work in reverse.. the companies are essentially still separate... Sprint's credit policy is easier going then Nextel's.. so it might work one way but no the other..

well, first you would have to turn 18, then thats another story..

after that, you and your mom need to talk to customer care and ask them to do a ownership swap. after you say that, they will require both of you to give information such as your mom giving permission and you accepting it but most importantly having them check your credit .

after that is determined then they will see how much your deposit would be. since you probably have no credit it would vary between getting rejected or having to pay up to $500. (i have seen people pay more)

after that is completed, it should take a matter of up to few months before the changes take place.. (it can take faster or slower, depending on the whole process and how much information i...

in my area (partners of course 🙄 ) nextel has been running some promo since november 2004 that the highest deposit is $100.00 unless you've defaulted on a nextel agreement before.

the only bad thing is there are somany people using nextell now all the damn towers are clogged up. 🤣

in partners areas its now (atleast in my area) only $100.00 bucks highest deposit.

the only bad thing is the salesman are shafters they will tell you OH IT'S THE LAST DAY FOR IT YOU GOTTA SIGN UP NOW! IF YOU DON'T THE DEPOSITS ARE CHANGING TOMORROW AND WILL BE $500.00 FOR YOU 😲 ! so you sign up and as you go back to buy a car charger the next day you hear them telling the same gimmick to the next person. 🙄 . once someone like i who's not an idiot starts talking they know to shut up. i normally say "hey hasn't that promo been ending since november of 2004? boy i can't wait to this partner thing is over with!!!"

i think all affiliates "shaft" their customers, but they shouldnt becuase they need to offer better more enticing offers to make the customers sign with them instead of the bigger boys.

yea.. thats what happens.. the nextel partners merger will be closed in the 2nd quarter, so i think people should wait until switching over from nextel partners to nextel legacy.

Ok lets get this straight. The biggest deposit you will have pay is 150. The only time your deposit is higher is if you owed sprint or nextel money and you didnt pay them for a long time (therefore putting your name on write off status) and if you still havent paid them you will not get approved until it is paid off. Then you will probably have to pay $250 instead of $150. Otherwise, no credit, bad credit, Bankrupt, ECT.... You will get approved for the Highest Deposit $150, then $125, $100, $50 or $0. People are usually approved for 2 lines 150 deposit $125 spending limit each, 3 lines 0 deposit, or 5 Lines 0 deposit and bill to account. of course theres other credit evaluations in between those but these are the most common

it all depends on your credit rating.. at 18, you should have little to know deposit based on little to know credit activity... I suggest you maintain your current account structure until you have some quality credit established or repaired if need be
