Want to sell phone

I am going to sell my current Nextel phone and was needing to know about the SIM card. Do I need to remove it and sell without a SIM or just delete my personal information. Is there a quick way to delete the information?

Depending upon your current handset the SIM may or may not work in your new phone of choice... If you are going from i30/35/50/55/58/80/60/90/95 to a new Falcon series handset the SIM will not work. Might as well purge you personal data and sell it with the handset (or separately). If you are upgrading between on the same platform your SIM will work and save you time cutting over service and info. What phone do you have and what are you looking to get?

Thank you for the information. I am going to be switching carriers completely. The coverage of Nextel in my area is unacceptable and I use the phone for business. My concern was if I wipe out my personal data and sell the phone with the SIM will the phone go against my account or my name when it is activated by the new owner. Again thank you for your information and anyother information that you can provide in the future.
