i860 Sim Cards
Technically they would work, but since its a MMS phone regular falcon series chips wont allow the phone to use some of its features like sending and receiving picture and audio messages.

you dont have to get i860 sim cards, you just have to get a 3 digit sim card that has mms on it. (most of them do)

I had an e-mail from our Nextel dealer rep and was told that you can use any falcon sim card in the i860. I had a customer that had one of the i205's. He upgraded to the i860 and took his sim out of his 205 and is using it in his 860. Customer care said his phone wouldn't even work. Nope, everything worked. He even sent pictures with it. So that is what led me to believe that any 64k Sim card will work.
My dealer rep at first agreed with customer care. Then he did some research and came out and said any 64k sim card will work in the 860.

yep. as long as it is a 3 digit sim card then the functions would work. customer care knows that it works however they dont want customers to do it, i am not sure why. (that is why the provide customers with sim cards with the phone purchases that they do whether it is upgrades or new purchases)
