Migration from Partners to Sprint

I am currently a Nextel Partners customer. I am interested in switching to Spring for the Treo 650. However, I would like to keep my number, and avoid paying early termination. Is this possible? Or do I have to switch numbers to a Communications market and then migrate to SPrint???

Thanks

From what I understand you would be pretty much a new customer since you are with Partners and they are not part of the merger.

Good question.

“, I would like to keep my number, and avoid paying early termination. Is this possible? “

since you are in a partner’s market, you will NOT be able to get rid of activation fees or the ETF (early termination fee).

“Or do I have to switch numbers to a Communications market and then migrate to SPrint???”

if this works, which I doubt, yes that is possible. As long as you are not in a partners area or a sprint’s affiliates area then your fine.
