What do you folks think the first post merger accouncement will be? Now, don't say, "Merge approved by FCC!"
I mean, "Nextel/Motorola/iDEN handsets now avail at all Sprint stores or Radio Shack" or something like that...

Okay, how long do you think it will take before there is an active www.sprintnextel.com where if you enter either nextel.com or sprintpcs.com it routes you to sprint-nextel.com??? Or how long before Rich updates the 'carriers' portion of phonescoop?

For being the “sprintnextel.com” site, I believe it will be up in running in a few months. I think rich will put it on as soon as the quiet period is over and after a few months when the merger will be officially closed.

The website will be available the day nextel and sprint become one store, not the day the merger is closed but about 2 - 4 weeks afterwards. this being by the end of august or september. The website itself will be SPRINT, not sprintnextel. All retail stores will carry the SPRINT name with the NEXTEL colors. sprintnextel will only be as there Company name, and be used in the Corporate Headquarters. (as far as federal taxes) After the merger nextel will only be a brand in the company.
