Tracking System????

I am pretty sure that I know the answer to this question, but I am going to ask it anyway. Does Nextel have an option for companies to purchase that allows and employer to track where his employees are by locating their phone?? It would have to be some sort of way to use the GPS in the phone for more than the E911 capabilities. I heard this as a rumor and do not believe it, but thought I would ask just in case there was some sort of truth to it.

Thanks for your help.

So MarkF,
Do you happen to know the cost of this feature? I never would have guessed it was true. I thought it was rumor.

Cost depends on what you want to do. If you want real-time updating with reporting and tracking options the cost is between $20 and $30.00 a month per user. This solution requires a Java enabled phone - i58sr, i88 or i730. If you only require the ablility to ping the phone for its current location the monthly cost is $10.00 per phone. This system can ping any phone - GPS or not. If you need more info Email me directly. I sell Nextel and am familiar with all the data solutions.
