A hint of New nextel phones.
There wasn't much news from Nextel at this show, but we got a peek at the push-to-talk carrier's roadmap while we were at the Motorola booth. Nextel phones scheduled for the next quarter include the inexpensive, bar-style camera phone the i275; the sleek, catlike i836; the rugged i355, which has an off-network walkie-talkie and the ability to form conference calls on the fly; and the i605, Nextel's first Bluetooth phone. The i930, Nextel's first smartphone, is currently scheduled for early this fall, though we've seen that phone pushed back before, so we're not holding our breath.

yea i feel bad for nextel customers, they should come over to cingular or tmobile, where GSM allows the use of practically any phone available!
Blah, ill pass. I came from both cingular and tmobile. Had tmobile first, went to cingular. left them for nextel. Nextel is by far better customer service and call quality from what iv experienced.

you have to be kidding,my sister had nextel and she waited on the phone for 25 minutes to talk to a representative, and it may not sound rediculously long, but compared to t-mobile, when i called they connected within 2 minutes! i dont know how u can compare tmobiles customer care w/ nextel, the awards say it all anyway so i dont need to argue
Iv never had to wait more than a minute or 2 with nextel and iv called several times. Iv had to call both cingular and tmobile a lot of times to. Now t-mobile i like better than cingular as far as customer care, and t-mobile i usually waited a few minutes up to 5, which is good. But iv had best experience with nextel.
wow call once and compare everything to that one call. Your sister probably called at noon on a saturday and you called early tuesday morning...
the awards say it all? well how is tmobile's churn and lifetime revenue per user compared to nextel's? well that says it all. who cares about biased rewards.
its all about arpu and churn and lifetime revenue per user. that truely shows how much a customer truely hates or loves that carrier.
u said it is $67 for the quarter...so basically on average ppl r paying $67 (does that include taxes?) a month for one cell phone? nextel is a ripoff
most companies have 2 years some have 1 year. it doesnt matter as long as you can keep them, and as long as they can pay. ie lifetime revenue per user. nextel and sprint has the top 2 in that arena.
i do like about tmobile is that get more situation. the problem is, i cant find their niche to say wow!!! thats great!! they are going to win just on that. with only 16 million subscribers, this is the time to be like nextel, to find something that seperates you from the pack.
tmobile is a leader out of all of them? i would disagree, look at verizon and vodaphone, they are number 1.
anyway, its about TMOBILE USA, not tmobile global.
its about usa. please lets stick with that.
i dont care if you say that, i am just saying my view on the situations. about tmobile etc..
good arguement lol đ
im going to watch tv now that the president is done, and then meet the fockers
alright... lets chat later. see ya, and good night.
alright thats great, i am watching the apprentice. (as i said before)
the 67 dollar arpu that i said, and that other providers give DOES NOT INCLUDE TAXES.
62 is what sprint has.
its not a rip off. it means people are paying for it.
arpu's for both verizon and cingular are starting to go highier a bit. they are in the 50's.
all data revenues have been picking up, which tells us many people loves data services.
yes all this in a cell phone. its functionality. you pay for it. you pay a premium for it.
they do that for boost which is nextel's prepaid service. thats what people do. they want it, so they pay for it.
