My Advice For Those Who Want to Have the Best Sprint Experience Possible

Nov 15, 2008, 12:35 PM
Simply put, get Sprint (Nextel) products (Powersource, QChat) under a Corporate account (if possible).

Also, only use legacy Nextel stores (usually repair centers) when taking the phone in somewhere. The Nextel side of Sprint has remained, for the most part, solid in terms of satisfying customers and taking care of their needs correctly.

Even if you don't want or need DC, the above mentioned phones can work without Direct Connect being activated, and you still are considered a "Nextel" customer.

If you can get a corporate account, the best number for fast, efficient problem solving is 1-800-390-9545. In 5 years, I've never waited longer than 3 minutes to get my call answered, even under Sprint ownership.

Hey "Mosco":

Before you had to go and shoot off your mouth in a negative way, didn't you notice that "jrfdsf" was not attacking or badmouthing anyone or anything?

Didn't you take the time to notice that jrfdsf was merely sharing some real-world experience for the benefit of others who are Sprint-Nextel customers?

Do you realize that there still are 50,000,000 Sprint-Nextel customers in the US, and they might want to read the helpful hints of the OP?

Do you feel better now for having taken your cheap shot? Feel like the big man now, do you?

It's one thing to respond in kind to a rant or an attack on someone or something you want to defend, or to clarify an argument by providing facts, but it is quite another thing to make child...

Please explain.
Is an 'employee discount' the same as corporate discount?
How do you find legacy stores?

No, employee discounts and corporate are different.

"Legacy" stores are usually repair centers that were formerly called Nextel. In my area, these stores will usually identify the Nextel brand along with Sprint, whereas the "Sprint" stores generally don't.
