Nextel's iDEN network NOW covers more people (274 million) than ANY U.S. carrier in terms of native coverage. This is why AT&T can only claim best global coverage now, because Sprint OWNS them both in native coverage (iDEN) and roaming (PCS).

The old Nextel is slowly but surely on it's way back, and badder than ever! Cool

Yeah Nov 7 is third quarter results...now know bs here bro it's not going to look pretty. i use nextel everyday and you know i love it. but nextel will never be back to its glory days, and if they keep losing millions it will not be anything more than a segment of ppl still using pagers. and the scary thing is they're revamping boost which is how the network go overloaded and went down hill last time. what do you think?

OK, gotcha on Nov. 7th.

Actually, I predict that Sprint will still post high churn rates and customer losses, but it should be less than the quarters before.

I hope you're right we need sprint to turn around, verizon and att posted some great numbers and i hope they're not at the expense of nextel. i would hate to see nextel getting close to ten million subs in the next few quarters, we will be in real trouble then.

So are you saying that all of this emphasis on Boost Mobile and the upcoming Unlimited plans for Boost will all be on the CDMA side? I thought the vast majority of Boost Mobile customers were still in the iDEN side. What gives?

Thanks.
