Phones from verizon and us cellular?

can you use phones from verizon or us cellular on the sprint network since there cdma?


AND

Is there anyway you can unlock a gsm phone to be used on a CDMA network or is that impossible?

1. No. They are CDMA, but Sprint won't activate them. The gist of the recent "unlock" court cases is that carriers will eventually be required to provide subsidly lock codes as customers are leaving a network, but there isn't any requirement of any company to activate a non-native handset. Sprint has never been very open about activating CDMA handsets made for other carriers.


2. No. CDMA and GSM operate on different technologies and frequencies.
