730 to i90c
Any iDEN phone that has two letters after the "i" (i90c, i88, i95cl) you can swap SIM's without a problem.
Any iDEN phone that has three numbers after it can have SIM's switched without a problem. (i830, i730, i860).
I hope this helps.

Yes it is possible but it will not work like it should, it will not transfer over contacts and it wont let you store any contacts.

Will i be able to make and recieve calls??
When I put the i90c SIM into the i730, it transferred over all of the contacts, it can make and recieve calls and DC works fine.
The i730 SIM did not transfer over the contacts, but it could still make and recieve calls, DC also worked as it should.
I hope this helps.
game this is to you:
i think people have said not to put the differnt sim cards becuase they might mess up the phones. i dont think thats true, but it may be the case. (those guys i talked to are actually experts and are in nextel etc..)
it wouldnt be wise to switch sim cards becuase what i have been told is that once you do that your warentees, if you have any on the phones or if you pay the monthly for the nsp and things of that nature, becomes voidable. (this is coming from people who are in nextel)
i am not sure if both of those are true, but i am sure if the people who work with nextel say that, and they are in very nice positions at the company say that, i belive that one should belive it.
its up to you i g...

i wouldnt listen to what she has to say to be honest becuase she doesnt know much.
who knows.
"But a nextel battery lasting that long? Come on.... "
exactly...
i think you shouldnt say what you dont know especially when it deals with nextel..
we had to be jerks about it becuase we dont like idiots who think they know it all but doesnt.
sorry if we hurt your feelings, maybe you should check how "great" your battery life is and standby time becuase maybe you dont use your cell phone at all.
hahah.
she says that the 95 and the 730 sim cards are the same, they arent!!
she said that nextel batteries are great, they arent!! i dont care if its on the black market or blue market or from nextel or motorola itself, the battiers are all terrible for nextel phones.
the only right thing she has mentioned, on this board, was that she said if you modify your phone that you will lose your warentee and insurance (if you are paying for it) but many people, i belive, on ...

When I was saying she sounds like she semi knows a little something I wasn't refering to the nextel forum alone. She has posted in the cingular one and got that guy that wrecked his holiday over phones to shut the hell up which is okay by me.
So in my book shes one for one, and least on the cingular side. She has NO place in a nextel forum. She shouldn't post anymore, at least not where she doesn't know what shes talking about.
exactly my point, if she doesnt knwo anything about nextel, she shouldnt post it.
---
with regarding other boards if you would show me (by providing links if you can ) of her posts so i can see what she has said (on the cingular board). it seems that you have looked on what she has posted has she posted on any other forum but cingular? if you can provide links please so i can look. thanks..

overall, i agree, she shouldnt post any more on this board.
nextel DONE!
So.. umm. maybe check out the cingular stuff or perhaps the shop talk and lounge? I'm sorry I'm really no help on this one. I'm new to phonescoop, and I don't want to talk about what I don't know about.
"I'm new to phonescoop, and I don't want to talk about what I don't know about."
aleast you know better.
you have mentioned that you want to find out about the merger? do you already have all the information you are looking for or are you seeking for some more?
i will just say everything about the merger and if you have any questions dont hesitate to ask.
nextel will maintain their network for 2-3 years anywya so you are not in affect you for now. i will just say right now since everything is finalizing so by law nextel has to still compete with sprint. after the merger is OKed by the fcc/doj/ftc it will take 2-3 years maybe more to make the transition from iden to cdma, so with that said you arent ...
