Battery replacement on ic502 but during 30 day period

I am having issues with my ic502 battery. My phone shows that it is still charging after 17 hours (1 bar left).

I am still within the 30 day trial period.

Should I return the phone? I don't want to exchange the battery and then have issues like I did before.

Therefore, ask for a battery exchange or return the phone (still within the 30 day period) and I also have insurance as the other option but don't think it's necessary since I'm still within the 30 day period and original warranty.

My advice; get the extended battery if you don't already have it. My phone will go 3 days on a single overnight charge, and maybe four, if I don't talk much.

That's the one I already have (extended battery). I just wasn't sure if I was better off just replacing the battery or replacing the phone. It works great but the charge was showing 2 bars and still not the "charging complete" after being charged for 17+ hours with the phone off. The first charge the phone received took about 16 hours then only took 2 hours to charge fully (I let the phone battery drain completely empty). But now, it was charging for 17+ hours but did not show a complete charge.

It could be the charger, too. I bought a car charger for mine that acted that way.

You might try a different charger to see if that works before replacing anything else.

Unfortunately, you may have been a victim of a bad charger. A batch of Power Source phones came with bad AC adapters. This is a known issue, I'm pretty sure you will experience phone "not charging". Send me another email, and I'll mail you the correct charger. Give me a detailed description of your charger. and I'll verify with my tech. Better yet, I'll send you a email on Monday, and tell you what the correct Ac is suppose to look like.
