Power Source (SIM)

I recently received an email on re-using a SIM card on a old Power Source phone to a new Power Source phone. Yes you can, it's not like iDEN phones, where you can swap a SIM card and put the new phone, and the phone starts working.
In order for you to use the same SIM, you need an iDEN phone to do a master re-set, then you may be able to use your SIM.

Once again, this is for people that may not know, I know there's alot of you that do know this process.

If you put an iDEN sim in a PS phone, you have to re-MSL the device
If you put a PS sim in an iDEN phone, ONLY the DC will work (with the DC number of the PS phone, NOT the nextel DC number)
If you put a PS sim in another PS phone, youll have to re-MSL the device.

I couldnt really tell if thats where youre going with that Yean, but when we got them in, I got to experimenting with them, and thats what I found out,.

Example: Doing an ESN swap on PS to another PS, for ESRP warranty exchange, and using the same SIM.

Yes, exactly, you just need to reprogram the device with the new MSL.
