Nextel just lost a customer
Monday, I spoke with someone who assured me that he could help. He ordered the ic 502 for me, told me it would be overnighted to me and would have it sometime Tuesday and stated that the original agreement would be kept.
Tuesday, I called to get a tracking number but they stated that order was still pending.
I was being charged full price for the ic 502 (per customer service notes) and this caused my phone to be suspended.

I'm trying to return the ic402 so that they will remove the phone charges on my acct. I was sold the ic 502 for $4.99 when I upgraded but was sent the ic 402. When I called in to get the correct phone, the ic 502, I think that's when they charged my account the full price of the ic 502. I was told to hold on to the ic 402 until I get the ic 502 and then return the ic 402.
Now, I'm being told the charge is for the ic 402. Spoke with a supervisor on the phone but she said I cannot return the phone to a store. I have to go through order support. I'm just trying to get what I was promised when I upgraded.
but honestly, try going to a store. they should be able to assist.
This is horrible.
I'm being told by the supervisor I spoke with that it will take up to a billing cycle for the credits for the returned phone to show up on my account. Therefore, I can't even try to upgrade until next month which at that time, I will probably just cancl.
I wish there a number I could call that could solve this entire problem but I think I've called every number that Sprint has.
I'm going to return the ic402 and then have my account cancel when the contract ends next month.
The only options for cellular service here are:
Cingular - Worst service EVER in this area
Plateau - too small of a calling area
Alltel - better than Plateau but not by much
prepaid - I would rather go without a cell phone
Therefore, I'll probably just go without a cellular phone unless Verizon comes into town.
My problem is that I did nothing wrong. I simply wanted to get the phone I was promised at the price I was promised. I should have gone to the store and paid the additional price and not have had the headaches. I might do that but they would have to give me credit or ...

Just found out that the ic502 is on it's way out. I'm afraid I'm gonna just refuse delivery. I think the ic502 and the ic402 are both being charged to my account but I don't know what the prices I'm being charged are. When I spoke to the supervisor at Sprint customer care, she said she could not tell what the charges were but that I would have to pay (the amount changes depending on who I speak to) $298.48.
$298.48 is my balance for the $4.99 ic502. That's a DEAL!!
I think if I can get the ic 402 returned, and if the balance is cleared when the phone gets back to Sprint, and if everything is straightened out, and if customer service will give me something for the trouble they caused me, I'll go to the...
