I saw it on the FCC approval page here, and I just had to google it. I think the i290 will be another slim candy bar entry level iden phone.

I am just hoping for bluetooth on entry level handsets, that could breathe some life in iden

I'm really surprised on seeing more iDen phones. I didn't think Sprint was going that direction. Maybe with Boost, but I think the Boost brand will be re-branded with Sprint.

it has been said that they could be southern linc bound howeve with boost, there are only 2 markets that are running CDMA boost so they still have to update the aging lineup.
