Cervice in the DC area

ok.. I dont want to come off like a conspiracy theorist or some upset fanboy... but over the last week or so I have noticed that I have to try at least 3 times to get a call through it rings once then hangs up or it goes to auto redial.. anyone with an INFORMED opinoin about this, or actual facts?

I only been to DC once when I had nextel, wasnt too bad. However, that was 2 years ago. I have Sprint now, and I have not been to DC.

My service w/ nextel has sucked ass since day one 9/06. You would think in the nations capital w/ all the military and gov' workes we'd @ least have good service here, but instead it's


Error this and error that. Busy sigal hear and dropped calls there. I would have left a long time ago ut I have 5 line and it would cost me more to leave. Damn i hate nextel

Perhaps it's the rebanding issue; just a guess. Too bad you joined Nextel at the wrong moment (i.e. during rebanding and after Sprint took over). It used to be that Nextel was, for years on end, THE BEST wireless provider in the DC area, every year rated higher than even Verizon in all of the customer satisfaction polls. So something has changed there in the past couple of years.

I went through a similar period of dropped calls, poor audio quality, etc. in my area (CA) that lasted about 16 months. But before that, and since then, my Nextel service has been very good. If you go online and register with MyNextel (a worthwhile thing to do anyway if you have any Nextel accounts), you can then use their website to report each and every proble...
