I am sick of the its coming, its coming stuff about the V 600 from T mob, so I have a chance to snag one off a Cingular guy, cheap. I popped my sim card in it, and it worked great, however, I cant configure the emial, of text messages,or send picture messages. It is still trying to connect on the Cingular network, and not on T Mob...my question is how can i go in and find all of the settings I need to set the thing up to work on t mob? There is a settings page in the phone with url addresses, and passwords and a bunch of other stuff, I need to know the t mob settings...any help out here?

Thanks!

My best guess is that the phone is carrier locked, meaning that while voice works fine, data...

Here's what your basic settings are going to be for most phones. If your phone won't let you change them, call T-Mobile and they can send the settings to your phone via OTA update.

😡 When in the hell is this phone coming out anyway? I've seen it for ATT and Cingular. What's the deal?

As I stated previously, right now the V600 has very unstable software the T-Mobile isn't willing to market. Once Motorola fixes the bugs, it'll be released.

Does anyone expect the bugs to be worked out? I sure don't.

I've seen more buggy motorolas come thru my store than any other brand of phones.

We are cringing almost at the release of this phone due to Moto's history of poorly built phones.

I've read on here that folks are on their second and third V600 due to bugs.

Thanks for the help, I think I got just what I needed.

I have talked to 4 people that have the V-600, 3 att and one cingular, and they have not had any issues. The camera seems to work great, better than the V-300 that t mob offers now, and the colors are good.

How can motos have issues with some carriers and not with others. Moto makes the phone, the carrier puts the software together, so is it the phone, or the software program?

I think with moto, it is hit or miss, you either get a great working phone, or you get a junk one. I was a nokia fan for a long time, and after I got used to the moto interface, and figured out all the buttons, then I switched over to the land of the moto.

Don't you just love when you tell someone what they need to hear, but they end up making a disastrous decision anyway? It's like selective hearing. But more stupid.

Why does anyone want a crappy motorola phone anyway? All the motorolas that have come out have sucked within the past few years. Just wait for a new samsung or nokia.
