Madison WI Coverage?

Anyone have experience with T-Mobile in Madison WI?

I know the coverage map says its roaming, but will that change with any new merger? I would kill for a Sidekick.

When a T-Mobile coverage map says roaming, that just means that its an area where they are sharing coverage with another carrier. T-Mobile doesn't even have roaming rates, because you will never be charged extra anywhere in the U.S. that you get a signal. However, I'm not sure if you can sign up for service in one of those areas and get a local phone number. You might be stuck with a Milwaukee number.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll stop in Milwakee to ask about phone numbers, i could live with a 262 area code, heck i've got a 651 right now.
