Well, we've just gotten some price cards for one new phone yesterday and there's a new phone on some of our internal sites. So from this one can assume we have at least a couple of new phones coming out very soon. Sorry I can't go into specifics since this is internal stuff and at least one of these phones will probably have a major marketing campain attached to its release. We're also supposed to be getting in the Motorola v600 (this is according to our Motorola Regional Rep).
Though this information should be taken with a grain of salt. I saw the same stuff last year with the Nokia 7250 then all of a sudden it was gone and we got the 6610 instead.

I have heard similar release information about the T-Mobile's upcoming phone roster.
The Nokia 6600 should be due out within the month, with the 3660 and some variation of the 3595 following this quarter as well. Also the Motorola V600 is due out during Q2.
There is a Sharp camera phone on the way, one of the first megapixel clamshells.
Expect some other megapixel camera phones later in the year, maybe around the third quarter - probably Nokia and Sony Ericsson, as they are already promoting their megapixel phones, but I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung and Motorola are on the way too.... 🙂

I would say that the Samsungs are actually some of the more likely phones that you will see sometime this summer, and this is right from the Samsung rep. On their end, they expect to release the SGH-D415 and the SGH-P730/735 for T-Mobile... of course the final decision is up to T-Mobile themselves, but they seem to like Samsungs anyway. Also the district manager for my Master Agent was in our store last week and he's testing the Motorola V878 for possible use with T-Mobile, although it might be an exclusive handset just for their agents, so I don't know if T-Mobile themselves are considering carrying it. There was also talk about T-Mobile releasing the Sony Ericsson Z200 and Z600.

Phone will launch online on 4/19 and will be available in most stores by week's end. SRP is $399.99, no rebate.

I don't know what I'd rather do...pay that price or take a kick to the crotch. Hmmmmm...decisions.

I'd probably go with the kick to the crotch.

Based on some of the reviews I've read, for about fifty bucks more, an unlocked 6230 is a much better deal.
