Not really worried about my browser speed as much as I am call quality. I mean whats the bragging rights if your walking around saying "Hey I can't make any calls but it's okay cause my web browser can load my pages faster than yours"

You just nailed it on the head when you said that you need a Hotspot. The reason I am still with verizon is because my phone just works. I want to make sure I can actually make calls and not have to worry about using a hotspot for anything. As I said internet speeds are secondary to me

I am saying that i am having no issues with both. I had the hot spot first to use when either 1. my home fios isnt working outages etc.. which there were or 2. on the go or 3. anywhere else

the Blackberry Z10 is because i wanted to have the phone and works wonderfully. I can also use that as a hotspot but i dont need to.

The reason why i dont get rid of the hotspot is because i use it for that extra mobile functionality and i have a ton of data to be used.

again, perhaps try to understand what i wrote. could yield you some better opportunities instead of getting blasted in my retort back to you ;)

Hmm. I just ported my number from AT&T to a prepaid T-Mobile account last week to save money. Just noticed the other day the display was saying 4G above the signal indicator.

Looking at that link does not show my city listed in the Modernized markets. Wonder if they are testing it here now.

4G could be HSPA...it's certainly fast enough for most but it's not real 4G.

With Tmob HSPA+(3G+) = 4G. It's boosted 3G that sacrifices battery life for LTE-ish speed.

I believe LTE-capable phones will show LTE instead of 4G, but that is my assumption. An app similar to "network signal info" is probably a better source of connection type than the notification graphics.

I'm surprised it's the middle of June and T-Mobile hasn't announced any new LTE markets. Two more weeks to go to reach the target of 100m population covered by mid-year.
