Thinking of switching

I am currently with Sprint. But I am getting tired of their slow 3G network and the lack of 4G. Half the time I can't even use my iphone, because the internet doesn't work. I wanted to know anyone that has T-mobile in New York what the service is like, and what average internet speeds you are getting. Also do you think it is worth to switch from Sprint to T-mo ? I would go with Verizon, but I need the unlimited data and don't wanna pay that much.

Thanks for the help 🙂

Here, I'll translate this for you.

T-Mobile: HSPA+ 42: Better than Sprint's EVDO Rev A

T-Mobile LTE: T-Mobile intends to have 100m covered with LTE by mid-year, and 200m by years end. I'll introduce you to an adjective in the English language, it's called "aggressive".

Is Sprint going to have 200m covered with LTE by years end? Enlighten me, cause I'm not aware if they even have intentions of covering 100m with LTE by years end, forget about mid-year.

I'm not a fan boy, just speaking facts.
I'm not even a current T-Mobile customer.

The equipment that T-Mobile is deploying LTE with is newer than the LTE equipment that both ATT & Vzn have been using the past two years, all that would be necessary for T-Mobile to do to upgrade to LTE-Advanced would be a software upgrade. LTE-Advanced Will provide mind-blowing speed's, well above 60+mbps to end-users.

Once T-Mobile gets into the process of combining the spectrum they got from MetroPCS their network will be able to sustain speed's better even with heavy traffic.

I'm not sure if I would say Tmo's LTE is better than Vzn's, but if/when T-Mobile wants to upgrade to LTE-Advanced it will be a lot easier for them to do so.

And as always, if for whatever reason you drop an LTE signal, T-Mobile has HSPA 21/42 as a fallb...

UPDATE: I decided to pay the cancelation fee with Sprint and switch to T-Mobile. I'm glad I did, because I get very fast speeds with the hspa. I'm averaging about between 8 and above mbps, and I'm sure once LTE is deployed in my area it will be blazing fast. Overall I'm happy with T-Mobile and glad I made the switch. By the way I got the HTC ONE and it is amazing 🙂

10 months ago I was using Verizon and was so tired to paying $300 per month for me and my 2 sons because of all the data. I had just paid a bill and a friend told me about Solavei. Solavei is actually T-Mobile but so much better. For one thing it is actually true 4G unlimited text, talk and data. $49. And better yet if you refer others you will earn money and it can cause you to get it all for free. You can check it out here www.hesters4g4free.com. I have a netgain of $700 a month instead of a deficit of $300. I'm happy.
