I have been using a LG G2x for the last 3 months or so. I have rooted the phone and have been using a custom rom for the last 2 months.

I don't work for T-Mobile but my guess is you'll be fine. The custom rom didn't cause the display to fail. If there is ANY physical damage at all, even a scuff, this is the type of thing that will cause them to deny a claim when you put in a custom rom. Well I work for T-mobile and typically if it is rooted it is considered out of warranty because that voids the warranty. Hopefully your lucky and don't get charged.

If T-Mobile sees an unapproved Android version or kernel version, your warranty is void and they will charge you an out of warranty fee. You will be lucky if they dont.
