Processor in Galaxy S II

Can anyone tell me why TMobile chose a different type processor for this new device vs. the one in the AT&T version?

Each carrier works with the phone manufacturer. I think T-Mobile asked for a better processor because of higher performance. AT&T may have not requested that to help with battery life. You won't notice too much difference either way.

Actually, the processor that is in the AT&T version (Exynos) is supposed to be better than the one in the TMobile device (Qualcomm).

Even if it is better, it's clocked slower, and that's all anyone notices 🙄

T-Mobile does not choose the processor. The manufacturer does, in this case, Samsung.

🤣 I had to lulz at that one... Why would Samsung opt for the Qualcomm over their own, better benchmarking, Exynos processor? Rest assured young grasshopper, this decision most certainly was made my T-Mobile for one reason. The Qualcomm is capable of utilizing T-Mo's 42 MBPS H+ network. 😁
