T-MOBILE PREPAID ROMING

I will be going to school in Grenada (West Indies) my current contract is up with verizon and before I got a "world phone". I wanted to see if i could use tmobile prepaid in this other country.

Please educated/experienced responses only. I tried calling t-mobile today, but for WHATEVER reason there was a 30 minute hold....
