Best phone - I guess is a personal choice of what makes it best.

I can see your point about certain phones having better characteristics and from my personal requirements - cosmetic as well as functional I feel that phone will serve me well for the next 6 months before I switch perhaps to the Nokia 6230.

As for the contract - I have no hassles with signing up another year as long as I can get as a good deal as any other person.

I never said I don't want to sign the contract. All I ask is that when I sign a contract I want to get as good a deal as Mr. John Doe who signs up as a new customer and signs the EXACT same contract. So I am only trying to work the system to get what i would consider a fair treatment. If John Doe can sign up as a new customer through and can get a T610, WITH a blue-tooth headset (Jabra - kinda sucks but its functional) AND get 45$ cash back after rebates then why should I actually pay 99$ to get ONLY the phone - when from our side both myself and John Doe have made the exact same commitment?

I maybe somebody who just needs to drop a couple of hundred dollars to ensure that he has the latest phone that he desires - but if I can do something to achieve the goal at a lower cost then why not. And yes I tend to switch phone more than once a year.
